Already have a resume?
A template (Word, Google Docs) gives you a blank structure — you manually format every section, adjust spacing, fix bullet alignment. A resume builder handles layout automatically: you enter content, it renders a consistent, print-ready PDF.
ResumeFlow goes further: it enforces ATS-friendly structure (single column, standard headings, no photos), lets you swap fonts and spacing in one click, and includes a built-in parser so you can verify how an ATS will read your file before you apply.
Most builders optimize for visual flexibility — multiple columns, graphics, color themes. ResumeFlow optimizes for parseability: Here's what sets it apart:
1. Strict ATS-first design
Single column only. Standard section order. No photo field. No decorative elements that confuse parsers. Every default choice is validated against Greenhouse, Lever, and Workday parsing behavior.
2. True local-only storage
No account creation, no cloud sync, no analytics on your resume content. Data lives in your browser's localStorage. You can even use it offline after first load.
All data you enter into the builder is processed and stored locally in your browser — it is never sent to or saved on any server. This means no one, including us, has access to your resume content. You can close the tab and come back later — your data stays on your device until you delete it or clear your browser cache. The only time information leaves your browser is when you click "Download PDF".
If you already have a resume in PDF or Word, you don't need to rewrite it from scratch — upload it to the parser, and the service will show you how an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) used by most large companies sees it. The parser flags formatting issues invisible to the human eye but that prevent the bot from correctly reading your experience and skills — such as tables, columns, or non-standard fonts that can cause your resume to be rejected before a recruiter even sees it.
